Year 1 had an incredible time during their school trip to Langdon Hills.  They were taught how to make dens and shelters as part of the Design and Technology curriculum. They also learnt about plants and the seasons. 

During their science lessons, Class 1 have been investigating the sense of touch. They really enjoyed the practical side of these lessons!

Class 1 love their maths lessons, which take place every day. They are able to use a mix of practical resources, drawings and fluency to support their learning.

The children have worked so hard to develop their skill set. Using scissors confidently is very tricky for some children, but they showed amazing accuracy and determination when cutting out their penguins!
